I haven’t been worried about the tariffs that President Trump is putting in place at all. These are the tariffs applied on a reciprocal (fair) basis, as applied to other countries’ goods being sold in America, based on those other countries’ tariffs on our goods being sold to them.
Reciprocal trade - reciprocal tariffs. Duh, duh, duh, and DUH. About time. Make that TRUMP TIME. The tariffs’ effects will subside… that is, the market will balance out, and in some months’ time it’ll be like they never were instituted - other than we’ll be receiving a rainfall of what businesspeople call “Money In.” This will be achieved through the revenue generated by the tariffs themselves, and other countries lowering their tariffs on our goods in hopes we lower ours back, in scale.
President Trump’s got big… big… courage in doing this. What other president has had any “political courage” (if that’s not an oxymoron) in doing the sorts of things he’s doing - to say nothing of pure objective courage in standing up after a bullet grazes and whizzes across his ear?
Here’s Victor Davis Hanson speaking briefly about tariffs.

Trump is consistent - and a smarter and shrewder businessman than any dirty politician in Washington, whether RINO or Dem:

As Coolidge said: The business of America is business. And we finally have a businessman at the helm.
So, some friendly counsel - particularly to our leftist “friends” (do you have any of those?):
1) Get a life.
2) Go about it.
3) Go about that life with a few less gang members here.
4) Go about it with a few less illegal immigrants of all types here.
5) Go about it with a few less dirty politicians (assure your leftist friends that they needn’t worry; there are plenty left. They’ll always abound).
6) Go about that life with a few less dirty, ineffective, money-laundering-federally-funded/sponsored, do-nothing organizations.
7) Go about it with a few less money-laundering-federally-funded/sponsored, do-nothing agencies and departments.
8) Go about it with a cohesive military backing us up: One with uniform standards for men and women in combat roles. (And one with no place for trans people in combat, etc.).
9) Go about that life with NO MEN in WOMEN’S SPORTS… LOCKER ROOMS… REST ROOMS, etc. How silly to subject people’s wives, daughters, granddaughters, grandmothers, sisters, girlfriends… to this utter rain of sh!t the left craps into society.
10) Go about that life __________________ (fill in some of your own favs).
You know, the Democrat Party is a basket of mentally ill freaks. It’s no longer debatable. I’ve seen many, many incredibly disturbing videos on the ‘net: These people are deranged. And, just to remind pundits, other politicians, journalists, newscasters, and news outlets: The Democrats are not interested in “learning” from 2024’s yields. They are not interested in mandates, and in (thus) “representing the people/their constituents/taxpayers…” whatever. No. Can I toot my own horn? Frankly, I have not seen anyone better-articulate what the Dem party is today than what I headed my column with the other day. This is their manifest fate:
The chief difficulty is that the Democrat Party has achieved a critical-mass: Theirs is now a gravitational pull acting upon every narrow-niche-identity person, cartel, terrorist, illegal-immigrant-aspirant, anti-Constitutionalist, communist, and general miscreant from every cracked stewpot in the nation - and even exhibiting that same gravitational pull throughout the globe - this is not hyperbole. And it is why, thankfully, we began deportations simultaneously with securing the border.
Please share this column far and wide. Upcoming will be Wokeism’s deleterious effects on the Department of Veterans Affairs (“the VA”). That’s an obvious tie-in to overall healthcare in America. Stay tuned. And, thanks.
