Got Gun? Here's a Happy Ending
With mounting "Pro-crime" initiatives in Dem-controlled locales, a gun is a necessity
A lot of associates who, in the past, were “anti-gun” are quickly reassessing their positions.
I’ve long said:
A home without a gun* has fools for occupants.
* Of course, multiple guns are even better, and I do own several. Perhaps the catch-all “firearm” is more accurate here: Guns and rifles of various sorts are good to have. (In this context, I’m using this definition of “firearm” - Noun: A weapon, especially a pistol or rifle, capable of firing a projectile and using an explosive charge as a propellant).
Democrat-run cities are virtually legalizing crime, making ownership of, and expertise with, at least one firearm an absolute necessity. Smash-and-grab looting of stores is now a misdemeanor in many Dem cities, and is seldom prosecuted as even that. Even worse, these criminals and their activities are spilling out into formerly safe areas - areas where solid citizens, solid policing, and enforcement of laws is the lay of the land - but where, now, crime is on the rise too in spite of best efforts.
Armed robbery and even murder in many Dem-run cities don’t even require bail for release; often if there is bail, it’s a pittance… a couple hundred bucks. Then, the criminals fail to show for court, and “defund the police” movements mean the criminals roam free to ultimately commit more crimes due to stretched resources.
Just do a ‘net search for San Francisco’s, Minneapolis’, Chicago’s, etc., “soft on crime” so-called adjustments. ‘Net search any Dem-run city’s posture on crime, to include violent crime, and note the anemic so-called “responses.” It’s sick.
With all of that, here’s a happy ending. I imagine the MSM buries many a happy ending. Only the most obvious happy endings can break through the media boycott of solid citizens defending their lives, their loved ones’ lives, and their property with… a firearm:
Lyft Driver Was Packing Heat… Two carjackers now near death…
I’m not prone to dispensing direct advise here but, if I were, I’d say: Get a gun while you still can. Take a course (if necessary; I’m ex-mil but am taking one at the end of the month because… none of us want a stupid-ass Alec Baldwin moment and it’ll be an opp to meet fellow Americans and firearms enthusiasts - newbies and old-timers alike).
Be safe, and if you hear that crash of glass in the night; if someone bumps your car; if you get rushed on all sides in the city… well, anywhere these days - and if you have the foresight for concealed carry - well, perhaps there will be a few less criminals for humankind to deal with.
GOT GUN?

The Beatles, Happiness Is A Warm Gun - For some reason, I think Lennon meant this as an ironic, anti-gun, tongue-in-cheek sort of song (Charles Schultz’s 1962 book, “Happiness is a Warm Puppy,” may have been the influence). However, in circumstances when you need one, happiness truly is a warm gun.
