UKRAINE: Not a Member of NATO, so Why Poke There... When Our Own Southern Border is Completely Porous?
As a prologue:
Here’s more: Smoking Gun: Here's Joe Biden Basically Inviting Illegal Aliens to Surge the Border
Biden set records for illegal immigration in 2021, halting border wall construction and enticing more than two million people to illegally cross our southern border for, seemingly, permanent residency in the U.S. with all attendant benefits.
After a horrific year on all fronts last year (illegal immigration; gas prices; zooming inflation; shortages of all kinds; draconian, impotent, dangerous Covid drug and mask mandates, business closures, school closures, despotic impacts to mental health, suicide rates, childhood development, healthcare-other-than-Covid, more) illegal immigration looks set to break new records. Our southern border is out-of-control and that is unprecedented in U.S. history.
One can fairly wonder: What constitutes treason these days if a President deliberately abolishes one of his country’s sovereign borders… and no one talks about it? Is he a traitor? Is a Vice President a traitor if she is assigned a task to put order in a border… and does nothing to secure it? Would these acts, and non-acts, merit removals via impeachments, trials, and convictions? QUESTION: Are these not, using the terms in their vernacular and secular sense (to be clear), sins of commission and omission?
But the buck stops with Biden. And he destroyed the border by design. After all, if you stop in-progress construction on a very effective wall, invite aliens to break our laws, work against the border patrol, and fly and bus unvetted illegal aliens west, north, and east (any direction but south), are you not a traitor? Are you not abolishing sovereignty? Are you not committing treason? These are questions.
It should be noted that threatening a President is a felony - as it is with many other officials. And to be clear, and so as to steer clear of a false charge of “inciting violence” against any public official, mine are simply questions. Very fair, very necessary, questions: What constitutes a threshold for treason? What is the threshold for traitorship? I think I just invented a word: Traitorship. And, a new meme in standing against the danger of losing our democracy… and any semblance of America:
TRAITORSHIP LEADS TO DICTATORSHIP.
Well.
Biden has obliterated the integrity of our southern border: It is one of the dirty, open, secrets of this administration. The MSM won’t touch these actions and inactions, many Democrats support them, and it seems most Republicans ignore them.
And so we come to Ukraine and its sovereignty, its borders, its security, and U.S. involvement in Ukraine’s standing - while ignoring U.S. security and sovereignty. Somehow Ukraine can matter to Biden, this administration, and Democrats. Oh, and Biden and the rest can ignore domestic problems or labor openly to exacerbate them. As to Russia’s plans - the scope and scale of its intentions vis-à-vis Ukraine - we’ll talk tough on the world stage on behalf of a country that is not a NATO member, while pretending we can engage a nuclear power in any meaningful way - way over there.
Here is, perhaps, some unique perspective on Ukraine and the allied elements of Russia, the U.S., and potential involvements: First, imagine digging a U.S. soldier up from a cemetery in Normandy - and reanimating him, if we could. He was killed on a far-away beach at 20 years of age. In this reanimated man, a dawning awareness of consciousness might be followed by this:
Soldier: “Where am I?”
You: “You’re on the coast of France.”
Soldier, looking wildly about: “What?! Where are the Germans… what is their position?!”
You: “Calm yourself, calm down… all is well. The war is over. The Germans are now our allies.”
Soldier: “What? No, no they’re not! The Krauts are not our allies! What are you talking about?”
You: “There, there. You’ll know soon enough. And, by the way, the Russians are our enemies now.”
Soldier: “What?? Now I know you’re nuts! The Russians are allies!”
You: “Also, Japan is an ally. Italy too…”
I wonder if many Americans have ever thought about that; how post-war alliances and enemies simply flipped. It rather makes dying on a beach, on an atoll, in a plane, in a city, in a sub, on a ship, in a field, in a jungle, in a desert, seem… confusing.
This is not to discount the heroic sacrifices made by servicemembers and families in years past. Inside the crucible of any soldier’s, airman’s, sailor’s, marine’s experience and influence, there is not much more to do but respond to the draft (in those years past) and its dictates. Same for volunteers then and now and those same dictates: The nation’s leaders - military and civilian - draft policies and plans, and off you go. As any combat vet can tell you, a lot of it makes no sense, and there are days, weeks, months, and even years where none of it seems to make sense. It often truly does not. but they serve, and do, and bleed, and oftentimes die. They suffer horrific injuries - and injustices. And, yet, serve they do - and I thank past and present for their service.
One gets the impression that it’s all a game on a giant chessboard - and, powerful people (and more often small people in powerful positions) manipulate others in sending them into the maw of battle. Horrific battles; true horror shows.
And so we come to Ukraine. Sigh. Ukraine is not a member of NATO. What are we doing rattling swords here in the U.S over Ukraine, while our border remains porous? Our so-called “problems” with Russia wouldn’t be happening with a President Trump, of course. How do we know that? Because, um… they didn’t happen. But now that we have a doddering, senile, slurring, stuttering, shadow of a President - and a feckless pol in the office of the VP - tools both for powers behind the curtain - Russia can pretty much do as it pleases.
Face it.
Now: Can we have our border back? Can we have our own damn country back? And can that country be one of confidence, without mandates for either masks or impotent and injurious drugs? Can we have a real President, and a real VP? Can we have some simple, real, damn Americans in office?

NP: Badfinger, Suitcase - live. I first heard a live version of this on WMMS in Cleveland back in the day. Badfinger rocked and are very underrated. Check out this jam.
No Matter What. Live. Nice.
And, I’ve posted this one before, but damn. I mean, damn! Baby Blue. One of the best power-pop-rock songs of all time. Yes it is. (Here I believe they’re singing live to a pre-recorded backing track).
