Thanks for your elucidation. It's the whole vibe the Dems are putting out there. Talking about punching people, constituents talking about assassinations. Did you view any of the embedded videos? I'm speaking of the entire firmament of what is called "liberal," "democrat," today. Like you, I'm registered Independent, and characterize myself as a Bohemian Libertarian. You should subscribe. Thanks for commenting - not many people do. I often wonder if they're afraid...
I think Trump deliberately talks and machinates to give the impression that he shoots from the hip - there's no question that keeping an opponent, like the Chinese, guessing puts Trump at the advantage in negotiations. Consider: There's video of him from the '80s talking about... tariffs - in exactly the same manner he does today. I'm watching for this: If he can end the R-U war, and if he wins the tariff(s) war (which I believe he will), I think the Dem "leadership" will have to be restrained in a giant collective straightjacket (ooh, that's good - I need to incorporate that in a column!). They're already losing their minds because Trump's popularity is rising: People like him who had never given him a chance before, or got to know him. He's funny, he's bold, he already had everything: money, planes, mansions, golf courses, a model wife, tv shows... funny how everyone loved Trump (H'wood, Oprah, even Pelosi and Schummer) until he decided to dismantle the Deep State.
Laugh out loud.
Elucidate.
I'm laughing at your dramatic exaggerations.
Nancy Pelosi is a threat? Chuck Schumer?
Is Joe Biden a criminal mastermind working in cahoots with his boy genius, Hunter and President Xi?
Is Bernie Sanders gonna heave a Molotov cocktail into the capitol building?
I thought they were liberal peaceniks?
Suddenly, they are terrorist threats.
I find that designation comical, but it would not surprise me if Trump wrote an executive order to designate them as such.
The democratic party has bigger issues than trying to mount a domestic terrorist org. They can't get out of their own way. That's what I see.
Anyway, I'm a registered independent who wants what's best for our country.
Good luck with your column.

I think they are afraid, Scott. I hit enter too quick. Editing.
Sorry I posted that initial passive aggressive remark.
Everyone’s emotions are amped up now.
I hope we can settle down.
Truly. Your remark was ok - glad you weighed in. Maybe your example will get others rolling.
Too late, I am now feeling aggressive. But I printed off a copy of your post as a potential mitigating defense in court.
Part 2 since I keep fat fingering on my phone.
I speak to people on “both sides” who paint drastically alternative realities.
Trumps approach is one of impulsive energy and shoot from the hip.
That approach rattles the nerves of many including mine. See the stock market which is all fear based reaction.
Everyone is entering fight or flight. Defense shields up.
It’s a scary time for all. It’s a new administration trying to turn the country on its ear.
So it’s understandable people are hesitant on all fronts.
